2011 Oregon Pinot Noir

The fruit for this pinot noir was sourced from Westbrook Vineyards in Douglas County near Roseburg, Oregon in the Umpqua Valley AVA. While this year was a relatively cold one the site provided for sufficient sugar development. A late harvest provided rounded flavor intensity and bright acidity. Bing cherries are the predominant flavor that comes through the finish making it a lovely, light, and very drinkable wine.
